Painted Pots is a series of hand-painted terracotta pots exploring the interplay between raw material and abstract expression. Each piece begins with a foundation of white gesso, applied to half of the pot, creating a stark yet harmonious division between the untouched earth and the painted surface. From there, abstract compositions unfold—gestural, intuitive, and unique to each form.

The contrast between the natural terracotta and the layered brushwork highlights the tension between structure and spontaneity, tradition and experimentation. These vessels, functional yet expressive, serve as both art objects and living spaces for plants, bridging the organic and the abstract in everyday design.
